Saltmarsh Sand Spurry

This herbaceous annual is a low growing plant found in wetland habitats.

The small pinkish-purple flowers are seen dispersed throughout the green foliage from spring to fall.

It is a plant that can handle a soil composition with high salinity, like coastal wetlands. It is also found along freshwater wetlands and alkali sinks.

Ecological Value
