Saltmarsh fleabane

Saltmarsh fleabane is a perennial that grows to 1-3’ tall and dies back in the winter.

A pretty addition to the native garden, the lavender to pink flowers make quite a vibrant display from July to November.

Naturally found in fresh and salt marshes, this useful and attractive plant is adapted to a wide variety of soils and sites.  Plus, the foliage is very aromatic with a strong camphor-like smell, which deters deer.
