Varicolored lupine
Varicolored lupine is a prostrate perennial that grows about 2′ wide and 1-2 feet tall.
The beautiful blue purple flowers attract the rare and endangered Mission Blue butterfly. Like the sliver bush lupine the silver-gray foliage provides a nice contrast to the flowers. This plant is low growing, a good choice for a rock garden. Its native range is along the coast and can be found in sand dunes so make sure to give it well-drained soil
