White Meadowfoam
White meadowfoam is the perfect annual wildflower for damp spots in the garden! It reseeds well, has vibrant green foliage, and once established, blooms profusely in the spring, producing a swath of cup-shaped white flowers. Only a foot tall. This species does well in poorly draining soils across California and Oregon.
The fruit (nutlet) of the plant is one of the most stable vegetable oils known, and is used in waxes, lubricants, and some skincare products as a softening agent.
