Blue flag iris

Blue flag iris is a rhizomatous perennial that grows
to about 10-15″ tall.

Each plant will grow 1-4 flowers large light to dark blue flowers. Blooms in mid to late May
Blue flag iris grows in alpine meadows and all the way down to sea level in the coastal hills.

It is the most drought-tolerant of our native irises only needing moisture in the spring.
