Oregon false goldenaster

Oregon false goldenaster is a perennial species in the daisy family that is variable in appearance and reaches a maximum height of ~8-40 inches. It is covered in small bristles, and has flat-topped, golden yellow flowers that bloom throughout the second half of the year atop multiple stems with a woody base.

Found in a variety of plant communities up and down the west coast, this species is hardy and adaptable to most garden conditions. It is a fantastic nectar plant for butterfly gardens
