Harlequin Monkeyflower

Harlequin monkeyflower is a low-growing annual herb that grows less than 6 inches tall. It is named for its striking flowers, which may be either vibrant pink or yellow.

This species is endemic (limited) to the southern Sierra Nevada in California, so it is rather well suited for cold nights and exposed areas such as rocky slopes, roadsides, and disturbed areas.
