Carmel Ceanothus
This variety of Blueblossom ceanothus is a fast growing, mounding and spreading evergreen shrub. It typically grows 3 -5′ tall (but can grow taller) and about 4-15′ wide Space 4-6′ apart.
Carmel creeper is an attractive plant with glossy green 1-2” leaves and a fragrant sky-blue blossom flower show in late winter or early spring.
Looking for a fairly fast growing ground cover, Carmel creeper is a great choice, just be prepared for periodic pruning.
Great choice for a coastal garden with a bit of shade!
