Dense Lace Fern
Dense Lace Fern, also referred to as Indian’s Dream, is a fern with creeping fronds that can reach up to 25 cm long and are covered with firm narrow scales reminiscent of cedar leaves. The fronds are sometimes dimorphic, with fertile fronds more erect than sterile ones.
This fern usually grows on serpentine soils on rocky mountain slopes that are well-draining but seasonally moist. It can also grow in rock crevices and exposed rocky outcrops in mossy cracks.
