 Big Sur Manzanita

This evergreen mounding shrub reaches 2-3 feet tall and roughly 3-4 feet wide, but grows slowly. It tolerates cold well, and produces subtle white flowers in fall and winter that attract hummingbirds and other pollinators

This cultivar was selected for the garden, and is able to tolerate practically any soil type. It prefers sun in coastal locations and partial shade farther inland.

It pairs beautifully with Coyote Brush, Ceanothus species, Seaside Daisy, Cliff Buckwheat, Douglas Iris, and native ferns.
