Marin Pink California Fuchsia (seed)

Epilobium canum ‘Marin Pink’ is a cultivar of California Fuchsia selectively bred for the garden to have gorgeous pink flowers (as opposed to the orange-red of the naturally occurring straight species). We grow ours from seed collected off of this cultivar, so ours is not the true cultivar and is subject to genetic and aesthetic variation!

Marin Pink CA Fuchsia grows 1-2 ft. tall and 3-4 ft. wide with a similar spreading form as its straight species counterpart. It can tolerate almost any soil type, and prefers sun in coastal sites and part shade in inland sites. It is winter deciduous (dormant), but is nonetheless an excellent choice for containers or as a ground cover in the garden.
