Coral bells
This herbaceous evergreen perennial forms a 1’x1’ evergreen clump of prettily scalloped bright green leaves.
An easy & excellent choice for planting under redwoods & live oaks. The prolific, graceful, delicate, cream-colored flowers rising another foot or 2 above the foliage show against the red stems to make this species one of the most beautiful of the taller Heucheras. Flowers from May to July.
Very nice massed in a native shade garden with decent drainage for a spectacular mass of dainty white flowers mid-Spring to early Summer–a first class show. If given some summer water and the occasional ‘haircut’, foliage remains neat all year. It is also a good choice for containers.
