Woodland strawberry
This fast growing ground cover is great for shade and does well planted under oaks.
Plant has lighter green leaves than beach strawberry and produces smaller but more flavorful fruit (yum!)
Plant it under a canopy of mature trees with Berkeley sedge, giant sword fern, and Douglas iris.
Flowers March to June.
